Weddings in the WNC Highlands

                                                                                                                                                           Since Since moving to Western North Carolina in 1996 to be nourished by these mountains and their beauty, I have done many weddings around the region.   I often conduct weddings at the Biltmore Estate in many of their lovely surroundings, as well as the Grove Park Inn, Richmond Hill Inn, Highland Lake Inn, Woodfield Inn – and many backyards, waterfall settings, and verdant pastures.    

Couples seek me who want a ceremony that is creative, expressive and elegant -  traditional, yet vibrant with fresh and personal language.

I have served several congregations that are Methodist,  UCC,  as well as independent.   Many couples who feel a strong connection to their family religious traditions find my ceremonies to be very pleasing.   And couples who have no particular religious connections, or who come from diverse backgrounds, are likewise delighted with my ceremonies.    

My Background

I have a Masters in Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary.   For several years I practiced psychology in Michigan as a licensed psychologist.   Additionally, I am a professional solo fingerstyle guitarist and perform in many settings in the area, including weddings and receptions.
